Rob and I are going to to help Ben celebrate his birthday tonight! He's our favorite German by far and for the occasion I've made a huge batch of chocolate ice cream to bring to the party.I followed this simple recipe from Cuisinart but upgraded it with organic heavy cream and Ghirardelli cocoa powder. It looks so good! For smaller occasions, I would recommend halving the ingredients.
