Dahlias are such happy flowers! Victorians apparently used them as symbols of "gratitude, dignity and good taste."My early October wedding will hit the tail end of their season. I'm hoping I can find some of the white and yellow varieties for the arrangements and bouquets.
Luckily, I have time to do a "flower rehearsal" this October to see what will likely be in season for my wedding next year. Keep your fingers crossed!
