Bargain Finder: Puffy Vest

It feels funny to post about down vests in the middle of a heat wave, but so be it. I've been looking for a puffy vest for a while now. All the options I'd found were too puffy for my skinny arms. I looked like a fun sized candy bar with toothpicks stuck in the sides.

Target's Merona puffer vest is just right. The photo doesn't really do it justice. Not too puffy and with a knit trim for a little extra flair. Plus, only $24.95.

I have the vest in red. My friend, Jill, has it in teal and shares my enthusiasm. Perfect with a pair of jeans and a long sleeved tee for weekend adventures.

I think we may be the same person living in different cities... My name is Emily, I was born in October and I was the Morton Salt Girl for halloween last year, and there is nothing more fantastic than a 24 pack of sharpies! (Even though the 12 pack is adaquate). Just though you might be interested. He he.

You might also like to know that I just bought a vest like this from North Face in white... but I got a children's large and saved $50!

I have run my fingers across these very vests at my local Target several times. I LOVE to wear vests in the autumn time. Vests keeps my core temperature warm, yet allow me to show off a lot of cute autumn shirt sleeves.

I'm glad I found your blog--and this post! :) I just tried this vest on recently in the store. For work, I'm very cute...but for weekends, I'm too much of a slacker, and I think a puffy vest would add something for me! ha :) maybe I will go back to the store and buy it...I let my friend Lauren talk me out of it; she said my arms would be too cold! we live in Connecticut after all...oh well. it is for fashion!
