Now, I've swapped the curtains for patterned sets from Ikea (pictured in the first image on their site) and the room already looks way bigger. Plus, a new duvet cover in a dark gray and navy chambray. This may just be the first year we leave the bedroom door open during our Christmas party!

To Do: Bedroom Remodel
Now, I've swapped the curtains for patterned sets from Ikea (pictured in the first image on their site) and the room already looks way bigger. Plus, a new duvet cover in a dark gray and navy chambray. This may just be the first year we leave the bedroom door open during our Christmas party!

Love this peek! Our bedroom is still woefully boring. Just unsure what do to with the walls- they have a texture that makes choosing a paint color quite confusing. But yours is looking absolutely lovely!
Very lovely! Does Rob style jive with yours? Has it been a progression to integrate your two styles? I just moved in with my fiancée (hooray!!!) and am finding that we have some similar tastes on somethings, but not on everything.
Congratulations on your move! It definitely has been a progression of styles with Rob. We have pretty similar taste, but both have strong feelings about it. In the bedroom: we picked out the frame together, I found the lamps and we got the sheets because they're a nice dark color (white sheets and men don't seem to go together in my laundry-world).
The art of compromise, the joy of discovering shared tastes!
Great! Thanks for your insight :)
Where did you find your lovely lamp(s)? I have been looking for something similar.
They're called gourd lamps and I found them in an antique store :)
