To Do: Green Onion Slab

Another new neighborhood favorite is the onion slab from Acme Bread Company in the Ferry Building. Oh my...green onions baked into bread is just about the best thing ever. And you can get two feet of it for $3 any day of the week.

I served pieces of onion slab with brie slices broiled on top and with a big green salad for lunch last Saturday.

Oh, that bread looks amazing and broiling it with brie sounds so good. What a treat to live close to the Ferry Building.
