Last night: pink champagne and baking sugar cookies with sprinkles. Margaret, who actually can bake, made a flourless chocolate cake at the same time.I've always thought the best things about Valentine's Day are the glue, construction paper, sprinkle and glitter parts. A few red and pink crafts outweigh a dozen red roses any day.

I always make pink mashed potatoes and a heart shaped meatloaf. Goofy, right?

Agreed. I told my husband not to buy me any roses this year, at all. I said if he really wanted to do flowers, give me spider mums. I had been drooling over some "new" OPI colors & so he got me an array of those!
