Not to be snarky (at all!) but read this and thought, "I could have sworn it was spelled ranunculus." Have I had it wrong all these years? Am I thinking of a different flower? Anyway, I googled it and both spellings are correct. Renoncules seems to be the French spelling! Mystery solved. ;)
Allison, I was thinking the same thing!! We used Ranunculus all over our wedding, they are my very favorite! Good to know there are two ways to spell their name :)

Ugh, that spelling is accidentally pretentious. I swear, it's the first spelling that came up when I searched for it online.
I had a spelling trip-up, too. Glad you all clarified it for me
