I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to ovens. Our first apartment's oven was old enough that it had to be lit with matches and took hours to heat up. Our second would have the pilot go out constantly. And now, our most modern stove yet has decided that 250 is really 550. I've been having to slow roast everything for months.
While I wait for the repairman to fix the thermostat, I'm drooling over fancy French Lacanche stoves that come in 20 color choices and are crazy expensive.
