It is also nifty how something so simple has made a come back, and how the practice of making such bracelets for friends is common in countries as far apart as Thailand (where they are yellow) and Brazil!
Ha--I definitely want one. And if I get around to making them, I'll send you one, too. I'm going to try to do them with my daughter sometime this summer.
