We received a couple as wedding gifts (different sizes) and you can do stews, chicken, risotto...a lot of slow-cook recipes. The William-Sonoma website has some, or you can pick up their slow cooker cookbook (I swear I don't work for W-S) and go crazy. We've been having a great time experimenting - have fun!
Emily: A daily weekday treat is reading your blog. Thanks for the recipes, fashion recommendations and tips for City fun. Wishing you a warm and cozy Christmas and an action-packed new year. Diane
lucky you! I love mine for soups, braises, tomato sauce in the summer - I even just made toffee in it last week.

I'm so jealous! I don't have one so I can't give my favorite recipe, but I can't wait until I do have one to make some homemade bread in it.

I got one a few years back and I LOVE it. I use it for osso bucco, stews, soups. Everything just tastes better when I use it:)
