Here in San Francisco, the weather has been bright, sunny and warm (way warmer than usual) for the past few days. It's still March, though, and I'm not ready to switch from winter to spring colors just yet. The trick has been to find lightweight combinations for running around town that still have a winter feel.
Dress - This vintage-style $150
dress has a heavier crochet lace that won't look out of place with darker colors in winter or pastels and brights in spring.
Sweater - I picked up this
J.Crew cardigan in "roasted acorn" on super sale a few months ago. It's an interesting color that looks nice paired with black and white.
Tights - A pair of trusty
black opaque tights from Hue at Macy's.
Pumps - Black
patent pumps with a thicker heel and a classic look.
Purse - The "
British Tan" color from Coach seems to go with everything!
Bracelets - A basic set of
gold bangles.
Earrings -
Tortoise-shell studs from Kate Spade.
